On the second Sunday of every month, we gather at Andrew Chapel UMC to pack a full meal for 72-80 people. Each meal kit includes a sandwich, bottle of water, can of soda, cookies, crackers, fruit, and a small candy. We meet at 3 pm in the Fellowship Hall to assemble the meals.
Hygiene Kits are assembled during the week, all month long. We create separate kits for men and women to accommodate personal needs. Each kit includes toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, and razor.
We accept lightly-used clothes and shoes donations to give to our unhoused neighbors. Our closet needs men's shoes (size 10-14), men's/women's pants, shorts, short-sleeved shirts, long-sleeved shirts, coats, hats, and scarves. Donations of new underwear, brassieres, socks, and blankets to give to our unhoused neighbors are appreciated. They also need tarps and tents for temporary housing in the exposed elements.
